Yet another dismal demise

Henry Purcell (above) died in 1695 at the age of 36. The circumstances of his death are not known with any certainty. The most popular story is that he caught a chill after returning home from the theatre late one night, only to find that his wife had locked him out of the house.  Another theory blames chocolate poisoning!
